The boAt Airdopes Prime 702 ANC tries to give you both: boAt claims up to 48dB hybrid ANC, six mics for calls and the newest Bluetooth 6.0 with multipoint, all for ₹1,899 (MRP ₹5,990). It is rated 4.0★ from 13,300+ ratings on Amazon and is the #2 pick in our Best Earbuds Under ₹2,000 list, just behind the realme Buds T310.

WHO IT'S FOR

The Prime 702 ANC suits office workers, students and daily commuters who want to block out bus, metro or office noise and also switch between a laptop and a phone without re-pairing. If you take a lot of calls and like tweaking sound in an app, this is one of the most complete packages at this price.

DESIGN AND FIT

This is a standard stem-less in-ear design with silicone tips, and the listing shows an item weight of about 50 grams including the case. boAt does not publish per-bud weight on the Amazon page. The touch controls can be customised in the app. Third-party spec listings (Smartprix) show an IPX5 rating for sweat and splashes, but the Amazon listing itself does not state an IP rating, so treat IPX5 as likely, not confirmed.

SOUND

You get 12mm dynamic drivers tuned to boAt Signature Sound, which in plain words means strong bass with clear vocals on top. There is also boAt Spatial Audio for a wider, more "surround" feel in movies. The boAt Hearables app has a multi-band EQ, so you can turn the bass down if it is too much. The T310 and Nord Buds 3r have slightly bigger 12.4mm drivers, but on paper the difference is small.

This is the main reason to buy it. boAt lists hybrid ANC up to 48dB, using feedforward and feedback mics, and the app lets you adjust ANC levels. Smartprix lists it as 46dB, the same as the realme T310, so we treated the two as equal and scored both 9/10 for ANC. Either way, this is far stronger than the 25–32dB ANC on cheaper models in our list. Remember that ANC numbers are maximum claims; real-world results depend on fit and ear tips.

CALL QUALITY

There are 6 mics with AI-ENx, boAt's AI noise reduction for calls. Six mics is the joint-highest count in our list (with the realme T310), and it is a real advantage on roadside or office calls where the other person needs to hear your voice, not the traffic.

BATTERY

boAt claims up to 50 hours total with the case. ASAP Charge gives about 150 minutes of playback from a 10-minute charge. That is solid, though the Nirvana Ion ANC (120H) and Blaupunkt BTW300 (150H) last much longer if battery is your main concern. boAt does not state how much the battery drops with ANC on.

GAMING AND CONNECTIVITY

Bluetooth 6.0 is the second-newest version in this list (only the Prime 800D has 6.1), and multipoint lets you stay connected to two devices at once. BEAST Mode cuts audio lag for games; Smartprix lists it at 50ms, but boAt's Amazon listing gives no number, so we scored latency slightly below the 45ms models.

The realme Buds T200x at ₹1,599 is cheaper but its ANC is only 25dB. The boAt Nirvana Ion ANC at the same ₹1,899 lasts much longer (120H) but has weaker 32dB ANC and old Bluetooth.

WHO SHOULD SKIP IT

Skip it if you need confirmed water resistance for heavy workouts, or if you prefer a neutral sound and do not want to use an app. Also skip if you want the most proven pair: the OnePlus Nord Buds 3r has far more ratings and a 4.3★ average, but no ANC.

VALUE FOR MONEY

At ₹1,899 you get strong hybrid ANC, six mics, Bluetooth 6.0 with multipoint and a full app. That is excellent value on paper, held back only by the missing figures on the Amazon page and the unclear rating history.
