Want an LG TV with its latest webOS and AI picture processor for under ₹16,000? The LG LB650 AI Series 32-inch (model 32LB650BPLA, 2026) was ₹15,999 when we checked (MRP ₹24,490). It shows 4.2★ from 18,306 ratings and 4K+ bought in the past month. It ranks #7 in our Best Smart TVs Under ₹20,000 list with an overall score of 6.7/10.
WHO IT'S FOR
LG fans, homes with other LG appliances (it works with LG ThinQ), and anyone who wants a smooth, well-supported smart system on a small bedroom TV. It is less suited to people who want loud built-in sound.
PICTURE QUALITY
LG's α5 AI Processor Gen9 with a resolution upscaler, Dynamic Tone Mapping, Precision HDR Master Pro, a direct LED backlight and seven picture modes. The title calls it a VA panel. Amazon's table lists a contrast ratio of only 1100, which looks low for a VA panel; we treat it as unclear. Score: 7.0/10.
RESOLUTION AND HDR
HD Ready (1366 × 768), with HDR10 and HLG. Note: Amazon's "in the box" line says "1 Full HD TV"; the spec bullets clearly say HD, so that line is a listing error. Score: 5.5/10.
BRIGHTNESS
LG does not publish a nit figure on the listing, so we score it as unknown. Score: 5.0/10.
REFRESH RATE AND GAMING
A native 60Hz panel. LG lists a Games service on webOS, but no ALLM or MEMC. Score: 6.0/10.
PROCESSOR AND SMOOTHNESS
The α5 Gen9 chip with 1.5GB RAM and 8GB storage. webOS is light, so menus and apps should feel quicker than on 1GB Android TVs. Score: 8.0/10.
SMART OS AND APPS
webOS 26 with Netflix, Prime Video, JioHotstar, SonyLIV and YouTube, Google Cast and AirPlay, a full web browser, LG Shield security, Works with Hey Google, AI search with Microsoft Copilot and sports alerts. Some AI features need LG's AI Magic Remote, which this model does not include (it comes with a standard remote). There is no Play Store, so the app choice is smaller than on Google TV. Score: 8.5/10.
SOUND OUTPUT
The weak point: 10W total from a 2.0-channel down-firing speaker system (5W per channel), with AI Sound Pro (virtual 9.1.2 up-mix) and Clear Voice Pro. The table says Dolby Digital while another line mentions Dolby Atmos, so we do not count Atmos. Fine for a small room; budget for a soundbar for movies. Score: 5.0/10.
PORTS AND CONNECTIVITY
2 HDMI (with eARC), 1 USB 2.0, Ethernet, two RF inputs, Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.3, plus built-in terrestrial, cable and satellite (DVB-S2) tuners. Score: 8.0/10.
DESIGN AND BEZELS
3.5kg, 71.9 × 43 × 7.1cm, 100 × 100mm wall-mount pattern and a matte screen. Amazon's box list mentions only the TV, remote, manual and warranty card, not table stands, so confirm before buying if you need them. 1-star energy rating, about 59 kWh a year. Score: 6.5/10.
WARRANTY AND SERVICE
1 year manufacturer warranty, backed by LG's large service network. Score: 7.0/10.
