Noise Pulse 2 Max Smartwatch, 10-Day Battery, ₹1,299

Want a smartwatch you only charge about once a week, without paying much? The Noise Pulse 2 Max claims up to 10 days of battery, the second-longest claim in this list, with a 1.85-inch 550-nit screen and Bluetooth calling. It was ₹1,299 on amazon.in when we checked (MRP ₹5,999), with 4.0★ from 27,061 ratings, an Amazon's Choice badge and 400+ bought in the past month. It ranks #7 in our Best Smartwatches Under ₹2,000 list with an overall score of 6.5/10.

WHO IT'S FOR

Buyers who care most about battery life and a bright, readable screen, and do not need a crown or AMOLED. It is an older, proven design (model NSW-203). Our colour checked was Jade Green; Noise sells it in 5 colours.

DISPLAY

A 1.85-inch TFT LCD at 240×284 pixels with 550 nits, brighter than most LCD watches here, and Noise says it has a very high screen-to-body ratio. It is not AMOLED, so blacks look grey. You get 4 faces on the watch and 150+ cloud faces in the app. Score: 6.0/10.

BATTERY LIFE

A 300 mAh battery with a 10-day claim. Only the boAt Storm Call 4 claims more. Calling and continuous heart rate will shorten it. Score: 8.5/10.

HEALTH SENSORS

The Noise Health Suite with heart rate, blood oxygen (SpO2), sleep tracking, activity tracking and guided breathing. Smart DND keeps it quiet at night. Like every watch at this price, the heart-rate, SpO2 and stress readings are best used to spot trends, not as medical measurements. Score: 7.0/10.

FITNESS AND SPORTS MODES

100 sports modes. Noise does not mention automatic workout detection for this model. Score: 7.0/10.

GPS

There is no built-in GPS (the Amazon listing says "No GPS"), so distance on walks and runs comes from the motion sensor, not satellites, and there is no route map. None of the ten watches in our list has GPS at this price, so every one gets the same low GPS score. Score: 2.0/10.

BLUETOOTH CALLING

Tru Sync Bluetooth calling with a dial pad and favourite contacts, which Noise says gives a faster, more stable connection with low power use. Score: 7.0/10.

BUILD AND WATER RESISTANCE

A polycarbonate case with IP68 water resistance (1.5m per Amazon). There is no crown; you control it by touch and one button. Amazon's weight entry ("0.05 grams") is an obvious error. Score: 6.5/10.

COMPANION APP

The NoiseFit app (Android and iOS) syncs health data and watch faces. Score: 7.5/10.

TIPS FOR BEST RESULTS

Set Smart DND for your sleep hours so the watch does not light up at night. Keep brightness on auto to get close to the 10 days. Save your top contacts in the app before your first call.

HOW IT COMPARES AT THIS PRICE

The boAt Storm Call 4 (₹1,399) claims 12 days, adds Type-C charging and a crown, but has far fewer ratings. The boAt Wave Call 3 (₹1,199) is cheaper with a crown and BT 5.4, but a shorter battery claim. The Noise ColorFit Pulse Air (₹1,199) is Noise's newer, lighter model with a crown.

VALUE FOR MONEY

Long battery and a bright screen for ₹1,299 is fair, but newer watches give you more for similar money: 7.0/10.

VERDICT

The Noise Pulse 2 Max is a safe, long-lasting basic calling watch. Buy it if battery and brightness matter most. If you want a crown and newer hardware, look at the boAt Storm Call 4.
