Want a smartwatch under ₹2,000 that actually looks and feels premium? The Noise Vortex Plus pairs a sharp 1.46-inch round AMOLED screen with a zinc-alloy metal case, Bluetooth calling and IP68 water resistance. It was ₹1,999 on amazon.in when we checked (MRP ₹6,999), with 4.0★ from 57,076 ratings, the most ratings in this list, an Amazon's Choice badge and 400+ bought in the past month. It ranks #1 in our Best Smartwatches Under ₹2,000 list with an overall score of 7.1/10.
WHO IT'S FOR
Office-goers and students who want a round watch that looks like a proper watch, not a fitness band, and who care more about the screen and the feel on the wrist than about two-week battery life. Our colour checked was Space Blue (model code wrb-sw-vortexplus).
DISPLAY
A 1.46-inch round AMOLED panel at 466×466 pixels, with Always-On Display and up to 600 nits (Amazon's spec table). AMOLED means deep blacks and punchy colours, and at this resolution text and watch faces look crisp. Only the Fire-Boltt Axiom is brighter. Noise also offers 150+ cloud watch faces and mood-based faces that change with your tracked mood. Score: 8.5/10.
BATTERY LIFE
Noise claims up to 7 days, but is honest that it falls to about 2 days with heavy calling. The battery is listed as 240 mAh. Always-on display and all-day heart-rate tracking will also cut that figure. It charges with a magnetic cable. Score: 7.0/10.
HEALTH SENSORS
The Noise Health Suite covers heart rate, SpO2, sleep and stress, with a calorie and activity tracker. Like every watch at this price, the heart-rate, SpO2 and stress readings are best used to spot trends, not as medical measurements. Score: 7.5/10.
FITNESS AND SPORTS MODES
110+ sports modes, one of the larger counts here, with steps, distance and calories logged in the app. Score: 8.0/10.
GPS
There is no built-in GPS (the Amazon listing says "No GPS"), so distance on walks and runs comes from the motion sensor, not satellites, and there is no route map. None of the ten watches in our list has GPS at this price, so every one gets the same low GPS score. Score: 2.0/10.
BLUETOOTH CALLING
Calls go through Noise's Tru Sync Bluetooth connection, with a built-in mic and speaker, so you can dial and answer from the wrist. You also get reminders, weather, alarm, timer, stopwatch and world clock. Score: 7.5/10.
BUILD AND WATER RESISTANCE
A zinc-alloy case with a 22mm silicone strap and IP68 dust and water resistance (Amazon lists 1.5m depth). It weighs about 45 g. The metal case is the main reason it feels more expensive than most watches here. Score: 8.5/10.
COMPANION APP
The NoiseFit app (Android and iOS) syncs your health data, lets you change faces and set challenges with friends. Score: 7.5/10.
TIPS FOR BEST RESULTS
Turn Always-On Display off on days you need the full week of battery. Wear the watch a finger's width above the wrist bone for steadier heart-rate readings. Keep the phone's Bluetooth and the NoiseFit app running in the background so calls and notifications do not drop.
PROS
- ✓Sharpest round screen in the list: 466×466 AMOLED with AOD
- ✓Zinc-alloy metal case, IP68
- ✓110+ sports modes, full Noise Health Suite
- ✓Most ratings here: 57,000+, 4.0★
CONS AND THINGS TO KNOW
- ✗₹1,999 sits right at the ₹2,000 limit; a small price rise pushes it over
- ✗Battery drops to about 2 days if you take a lot of calls
No built-in GPS
Amazon's spec table cuts the resolution off as "466 x"; the bullets confirm 466×466
WHAT'S IN THE BOX
- •The smartwatch, a magnetic charger, a user manual and a warranty card. Warranty is 1 year from Noise.
HOW IT COMPARES AT THIS PRICE
The Fire-Boltt Axiom (₹1,999) has an even brighter 1000-nit AMOLED and wireless charging, but a 3.9★ rating. The Fastrack Astor FS1 Pro (₹1,999) has a bigger 1.97-inch rectangular AMOLED and more health tracking, but a plastic case and 5-day battery. The boAt Storm Call 4 (₹1,399) lasts far longer and charges over Type-C, but uses an LCD screen.
VALUE FOR MONEY
AMOLED, metal and 57K ratings for ₹1,999 is a fair deal, though you pay the full budget: 7.5/10.
VERDICT
The Noise Vortex Plus is the best all-round smartwatch under ₹2,000 on paper. Buy it for the screen and the metal build. If battery life matters more than looks, the boAt Storm Call 4 is the better pick.
