The OnePlus N6 is built around one number: 8,000mAh. OnePlus calls it the biggest battery in its segment, paired with 45W charging, IP65 water resistance, MIL-STD-810 toughness and OxygenOS 16. The 6GB/128GB model is listed at ₹26,999 (MRP ₹33,999, about 26% off). It is one of the hottest phones on amazon.in right now (#7 in Smartphones and 5,000+ bought in the past month when we checked) and is rated 3.9★ from about 1,400 buyers. It ranks #7 in our Best Phones Under ₹25,000 list.
WHO IT'S FOR
The N6 is for people who want a phone that simply does not die: travellers, sales and field staff, people with long commutes, and anyone who forgets to charge. It also suits OnePlus fans who want OxygenOS without paying Nord prices.
DESIGN AND BUILD
OnePlus lists IP65 dust and water resistance and MIL-STD-810 military-grade durability, so rain, dust and accidental drops are less of a worry. Along with the POCO M8, it has the best durability score in our list. A phone case and a power adapter are in the box, according to the listing. With an 8,000mAh battery inside, expect a heavier phone than the slim Samsung and POCO models.
DISPLAY
The 6.8-inch LCD runs at 120Hz, which feels smooth, and launch specs list up to 1,200 nits in high-brightness mode. But it is only HD+ (720x1570). At ₹26,999 that is the biggest weakness: the POCO M8, Galaxy M36 and Galaxy M17 give you sharp AMOLED screens, and the Moto G57 Power and realme P4X give you Full HD+ LCDs for less money.
PERFORMANCE
The chip is the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Apex, backed by what OnePlus calls the segment's largest 5,300mm² cooling system. It is a close relative of the Dimensity 6300, so it handles daily apps, streaming and casual games well, but it is clearly slower than the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, Snapdragon 6s Gen 4, Exynos 1380 and Dimensity 7400 Ultra phones above it. OnePlus promises 60-month (5-year) "fast and smooth" performance for the 6GB model. Storage is 128GB.
CAMERAS
You get a 50MP f/1.8 dual camera system (one main sensor plus a helper) and an 8MP selfie camera. There is no ultra-wide or OIS. Launch specs list 1080p at 60fps video, while the Amazon table says 30fps. Expect decent daylight photos, and average low-light results.
BATTERY AND CHARGING
This is the N6's reason to exist. 8,000mAh is the joint-biggest battery in our list (with the NARZO 100x), and 45W charging with the charger in the box keeps refill times reasonable. OnePlus also says the battery is engineered to stay healthy for 7 years. Most people will get two days from a charge; light users more.
SOFTWARE AND UPDATES
It ships with OxygenOS 16 (Android 16), which is one of the cleanest and smoothest Android skins. However, the listing does not state how many Android OS upgrades you will get; the "60-month smoothness" line is a performance promise, not an update promise. Samsung's six-year policy is clearly stronger.

HOW IT COMPARES AT THIS PRICE
The realme NARZO 100x has the same 8,000mAh battery, 45W charging and IP65 with a faster 144Hz screen for ₹500 less, but uses realme UI instead of OxygenOS. The Moto G57 Power (₹21,499) has a 7,000mAh battery with a faster chip, Full HD+ screen and 8GB RAM for ₹3,500 less. The 4GB/128GB N6 was listed at ₹23,499, but we recommend the 6GB model.
WHO SHOULD SKIP IT
Skip it if you watch a lot of video, play demanding games, or want a good camera. You get more phone for the money elsewhere in this list.
VALUE FOR MONEY
You are paying for the battery, durability and OxygenOS. If those are your top three needs, it is fair value; if not, the Moto G57 Power or POCO M8 are better buys.
VERDICT
Buy the OnePlus N6 if you want a tough phone with an 8,000mAh battery and clean OxygenOS. Skip it if screen quality, speed or cameras matter to you. Check the live Amazon price before you buy.
