The realme P4X 5G uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra chip, a 144Hz screen, a 7,000mAh battery with 45W charging, and a large 5,300mm² vapour-chamber cooling system. The 6GB/128GB version is listed at ₹23,845, carries the Amazon's Choice badge and is rated 4.1★ from 800+ buyers. It ranks #4 in our Best Phones Under ₹25,000 list.

WHO IT'S FOR

The P4X is for gamers and power users who care most about smooth frame rates and battery life: BGMI, Free Fire, COD Mobile players and heavy multitaskers. If cameras or long software support matter more to you, the Samsung and POCO phones above it are better choices.

DESIGN AND BUILD

It is about 8.4mm thick and weighs around 208 grams, which is reasonable for a 7,000mAh phone. realme lists IP64 dust and splash resistance and a drop-resistance claim of about 1.5 metres. That handles rain and spills, but is a step below the IP65/IP66 ratings on the POCO M8, OnePlus N6 and NARZO phones. A 45W charger and a phone case are in the box, according to the listing.

DISPLAY

The screen is a 6.72-inch FHD+ (2400x1080) LCD with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 1,000 nits of brightness. 144Hz is the fastest refresh rate in our list (shared with the two NARZO phones), and Full HD+ makes it sharper than those NARZO and OnePlus panels. It is still LCD, so contrast and blacks are behind the AMOLED screens on the POCO M8 and Galaxy M36.

PERFORMANCE

This is where the P4X wins. The Dimensity 7400 Ultra has four Cortex-A78 performance cores clocked up to 2.6GHz, the fastest CPU clock in our list. Paired with UFS 3.1 storage (faster than the UFS 2.2 or eMMC storage on several rivals) and the large VC cooling plate, it should hold frame rates better during long sessions. RAM is 6GB, and the listing says storage is expandable with a microSD card.

CAMERAS

Cameras are the weak spot. You get a 50MP f/1.8 main camera plus a 2MP monochrome helper lens, and an 8MP selfie camera. There is no ultra-wide. realme's spec sheet lists 4K at 30fps and 1080p at 60fps video, which is better than the NARZO and OnePlus phones, but for photos the Galaxy M36, Galaxy M17 and Moto G57 Power are more versatile.

BATTERY AND CHARGING

The 7,000mAh battery (6,830mAh rated) with 45W charging is a strong combination. realme also supports bypass charging, which powers the phone directly from the charger while gaming so the battery stays cooler, and reverse wired charging. Expect a full day of heavy use and close to two days of light use.

SOFTWARE AND UPDATES

It ships with realme UI 6.0 on Android 15. realme has not clearly stated how many Android updates the P4X will get on this listing, so we score software conservatively. Expect some pre-installed apps.

The POCO M8 5G (₹23,396) is slightly slower, but has a much better curved AMOLED screen, a 20MP selfie camera and IP65/66. The Moto G57 Power (₹21,499) has the same battery size, 8GB RAM and an ultra-wide camera for ₹3,300 less. The realme NARZO 90x shares the 7,000mAh battery and 144Hz screen with faster 60W charging at ₹21,499, but its Dimensity 6300 is much slower.

WHO SHOULD SKIP IT

Skip it if you mainly shoot photos, want an AMOLED screen, or want guaranteed long-term updates.

VALUE FOR MONEY

For gamers, the chip, cooling and battery are worth it. For everyone else, ₹23,845 is a lot for an LCD phone with a basic camera, which is why it ranks #4, not higher.
