WHO IT'S FOR

Families of four who wash a lot of mixed loads and want plenty of program choice. It also suits flats with weak water pressure, and buyers who prefer Bosch's service network.

8 kg, the joint-largest fully automatic here with the Samsung WA80BG4441BG. Oddly, the listing says it is "suitable for 3–4 people", the same as its 7 kg sibling; 8 kg will comfortably handle a family of four or five. Score: 7.5/10.
