Want the most complete pair of earbuds you can buy for ₹3,000? The realme Buds T500 Pro pack up to 50dB adaptive ANC, LHDC 5.0 Hi-Res audio, Bluetooth 6.1 with three-device pairing and a 56-hour battery claim, listed at ₹2,999 on amazon.in (MRP ₹4,299). When we checked they had 4.0★ from 1,387 ratings, an Amazon's Choice badge, 3K+ bought in the past month and a #48 rank in In-Ear Headphones. They rank #1 in our Best Earbuds Under ₹3,000 list with an overall score of 8.2/10. No other pair here ticks as many boxes at once, and that is why they top the list.
WHO IT'S FOR
People who commute, work on a laptop and game on a phone, and want one pair that handles all three. If you switch between a phone, a laptop and a tablet every day, the triple-device connection is the stand-out feature.
SOUND QUALITY
realme uses a 12.4mm titanium-plated dynamic driver with Hi-Res Audio Wireless certification and the LHDC 5.0 codec (up to 24-bit/96kHz), plus SBC and AAC. LHDC only works on phones that support it (many realme, OPPO, OnePlus and Xiaomi models do; iPhones and Samsung phones do not), so most people will listen over AAC. You also get 360° spatial audio and EQ presets in the realme Link app. Score: 8.5/10. We do not run listening tests; this is judged from the hardware and codec support.
NOISE CANCELLATION
Up to 50dB adaptive ANC with a claimed range up to 5,000Hz, adjusting to your ear fit and surroundings, plus a transparency mode and wind-noise reduction. Only the realme Buds Air 7 and OPPO Enco Air 5 claim more here (52dB). Score: 8.5/10.
CALL QUALITY
Six mics with AI noise reduction. That is the joint-highest mic count in this list. Score: 8.0/10.
BATTERY
realme and Gadgets 360 list up to 13.5 hours per charge and 56 hours total with ANC off, or 8 hours / 33 hours with ANC on. Using LHDC cuts this to about 9 hours (5.5 with ANC). A 10-minute charge gives up to 10 hours. The case holds 530mAh, each bud 62mAh. Score: 8.5/10.
GAMING LATENCY
A 45ms low-latency mode, the joint-lowest figure in this list. Score: 8.0/10.
FIT AND COMFORT
Each bud weighs about 4.5g, and realme says the case is more compact than its older Buds. A lanyard is included. Score: 7.5/10.
CONNECTIVITY
Bluetooth 6.1 with simultaneous connection to up to three devices, which is unique in this list, plus Find My Earbuds. One listing conflict: Amazon's spec table says Bluetooth 5.4, while the title, realme and launch coverage all say 6.1. We scored 6.1. Score: 9.5/10.
WATER RESISTANCE
IP55 dust and water resistance, enough for sweat and light rain. Score: 7.5/10.
FEATURES
- •Live translation (two-way and face-to-face), MindFlow ambient soundscapes, spatial audio, EQ and Find My. Amazon's table lists the driver as "Hybrid", but realme and every launch report say a single dynamic driver. Score: 8.5/10. Warranty is 1 year (carry-in to realme service).
TIPS FOR BEST RESULTS
Try all the ear tip sizes in the box; ANC depends heavily on a good seal, and realme's adaptive ANC also adjusts to your fit. Switch to AAC instead of LHDC when you need maximum battery. Pair your phone, laptop and tablet once in the realme Link app so the triple connection switches on its own. Update the firmware on day one.
PROS
- ✓50dB adaptive ANC and six mics
- ✓Bluetooth 6.1 with three-device pairing
- ✓LHDC 5.0 Hi-Res codec and spatial audio
- ✓56H total battery, 10 min = 10H
- ✓45ms game mode and IP55
CONS AND THINGS TO KNOW
- ✗4.0★ from 1,387 ratings is lower than some rivals
- ✗LHDC needs a supported Android phone and cuts battery life
- ✗At ₹2,999 it uses the full budget
- ✗Amazon's table lists Bluetooth 5.4 and a "Hybrid" driver; realme says 6.1 and dynamic
WHAT'S IN THE BOX
- •The earbuds, charging case, extra ear tips, a lanyard, a user guide and warranty papers (Smartprix and realme). Amazon's table lists only "Eartip, User Manual". Charging is over USB Type-C; a wall adaptor is not included. Sold by Cocoblu Retail and shipped by Amazon when we checked.
HOW IT COMPARES AT THIS PRICE
The realme Buds Air 7 (₹2,999) has slightly deeper ANC (52dB), a higher 4.2★ rating and similar sound hardware, but Bluetooth 5.4 and only two devices. The OPPO Enco Air 5 (₹2,899) also claims 52dB ANC and Bluetooth 6.1, but has three mics and no Hi-Res codec. If ₹2,999 feels steep, the realme Buds T310 (₹1,999) keeps 46dB ANC and 45ms latency for ₹1,000 less.
VALUE FOR MONEY
You get nearly every feature this budget offers, but the 4.0★ rating is a little behind the Air 7: 7.5/10.
VERDICT
The realme Buds T500 Pro are the best all-round earbuds under ₹3,000 on paper. Buy them for ANC, calls, multi-device use and gaming in one pair. Skip them if you only want strong ANC and good reviews; the Air 7 may suit you better. Check the live price first, since realme launched these at ₹2,799.
