Samsung 10 kg WA80F10E2LTL Wi-Fi Inverter Top Load, ₹24,990

Need a big fully automatic washer for a large family but want to stay under ₹25,000? The Samsung WA80F10E2LTL is a 10 kg top loader with a Digital Inverter motor, AI Wash, Wi-Fi (SmartThings) and the lowest listed energy figure among the Samsung machines here, 0.0082 kWh/kg/cycle. It was ₹24,990 on amazon.in when we checked (MRP ₹33,990), with 3.9★ from 542 ratings and 2K+ bought in the past month. It ranks #4 in our Best Washing Machines Under ₹25,000 list with an overall score of 8.0/10.

WHO IT'S FOR

Families of five or more, joint families, and homes that wash heavy blankets, quilts and curtains at home. If you are replacing a twin-tub because you are tired of moving wet clothes by hand, this is the biggest fully automatic machine we found under ₹25,000 from a major brand.

CAPACITY

10 kg, the largest fully automatic drum in this list (the LG 9 kg is next). That is enough for a big family's daily wash or a double blanket in one load. Score: 9.5/10.

WASH PROGRAMS

12 programs: AI Wash, Bedding for heavy loads, Delicates, Energy Saving, Jeans, Normal, Quick Wash, Rinse + Spin, Tub Clean and a Downloaded slot for app cycles such as Towels, Super Clean, Soak, Sari, Baby Care, Colors and Aqua Preserve. Options include Delay End, Ecobubble, Intensive Wash and AirTurbo (15 or 30 minutes). Unlike the 8 kg sibling, the option list does not include Super Speed. Score: 9.0/10.

ENERGY AND WATER

BEE 5-star, listed at 0.0082 kWh/kg/cycle, with AI Energy Mode claiming up to 20% savings. Samsung gives no water figure in the listing and asks you to check the BEE label. Score: 9.0/10.

SPIN SPEED AND DRYING

700 RPM, the same as the other Samsungs and slower than LG (740) and IFB (720). With a 10 kg load, clothes will come out fairly damp; AirTurbo adds a drying spin. Score: 6.5/10.

MOTOR

A Digital Inverter motor with a 10-year warranty. The listing says the 20-year motor offer applied only to purchases from 1 December 2022 to 31 March 2026, so it has ended. Score: 9.0/10.

DRUM AND TUB

A stainless steel 2nd-generation Diamond Drum with smaller, recessed water holes for gentler washing, a Dual Storm pulsator, a rust-proof body and rat-mesh protection. Score: 8.0/10.

NOISE AND VIBRATION

No dB figure is listed. AI VRT+ is Samsung's vibration-reduction system for a quieter spin. A 10 kg drum full of wet blankets will still shake more than a small machine, so place it on a firm, level floor. Score: 7.5/10.

FEATURES

• •Wi-Fi with SmartThings, Smart Check diagnosis, AI Wash load sensing, Ecobubble, BubbleStorm, Magic Filter, Monsoon mode, 10 water levels, child lock, auto restart, Delay End, a soft-closing door with tempered glass and touch controls. It works from 0.05 to 0.78 MPa water pressure. Score: 9.0/10.

WARRANTY

2 years comprehensive and 10 years on the motor. The listing says brand warranty can be claimed with the seller invoice. Score: 7.5/10.

THINGS TO CHECK BEFORE BUYING

The title says 10 kg, but the model number WA80F10E2LTL starts with "WA80", which can look like an 8 kg code; the capacity field, bullets and title all say 10 kg, so check the box label on delivery. At ₹24,990 it is right at the ₹25,000 limit, and its 3.9★ rating is lower than the 8 kg Samsung's 4.0★. It is 54 cm wide, 56.8 cm deep and 100.8 cm tall, the tallest top loader in this list.

HOW IT COMPARES AT THIS PRICE

The Samsung WA80F08S2LTL (₹20,990) has nearly the same features in an 8 kg drum for ₹4,000 less and has a better rating. The LG T90VBMB1S (₹23,989) holds 9 kg, adds an in-built heater with steam and lists lower energy and water use, but has only 115 ratings at 3.5★.

VALUE FOR MONEY

You pay ₹4,000 over the 8 kg model for 2 extra kilograms. Worth it for a big family, poor value for a small one: 5.0/10.

VERDICT

The Samsung WA80F10E2LTL is the best big-family fully automatic washer under ₹25,000. Buy it if you regularly wash for five or more people. For four or fewer, the 8 kg version does the same job for less.
